Live cooking in a Christmas setting offers a festive buffet in a luxury restaurant with an open kitchen, where you can see how the chef and the kitchen team prepare the most delicious Christmas dishes à la minute. This unique culinary experience combines the flavors of the holidays with the artisanal passion of the chefs, resulting in a dinner that is not only tasty but also a visual spectacle.
At this Christmas buffet, you can enjoy an unlimited selection of festive dishes and drinks. The offerings range from traditional meat dishes to various types of fish and refined side dishes, all freshly prepared. In addition, you have the choice of soft drinks, house wine, draft beer, coffee, and tea, all included in the package. Whether you fancy a glass of wine with your dinner or a cup of coffee after a delicious dessert, everything is served in a warm, festive ambiance that perfectly complements the Christmas spirit.

When?
Our Christmas live cooking buffet is served on 24, 25, and 26 December. On both Christmas days, you can start from 15:15 and choose until 20:15. Easily reserve online and choose your preferred start time. On 24 December, the first start time is 17:00 and the last start time is 18:30. The live cooking takes place in our buffet restaurant.
*The live cooking includes tea, coffee, juices, soft drinks, draft beer, and house wine.
How long do I have?
Guests have a maximum of 2.5 hours from the reservation start time; if you arrive later than your start time, the end time remains unchanged.
To spread the crowds, we use different fixed start times. You can choose one of the available start times yourself via the reservation link.
Until when can I cancel?
You can cancel your entire reservation free of charge until December 12th. In that case, we will refund the deposit to the account you used for payment. Cancelling the number of guests within your reservation free of charge is possible until December 20th. The deposit will then be deducted at checkout and not refunded.
Booking & deposit
For booking our Christmas brunch, Christmas live cooking, or Christmas dinner, we require a deposit of €10 per paying guest. You can only make reservations online through our website, where you can make the deposit directly. Unfortunately, we cannot accept reservations over the phone, and we do not operate a waiting list. For groups of 25 people or more, please contact the hotel via email at feestdagen@breukelen.valk.com

Is there entertainment for the children?

We have paid a lot of attention to the festive Christmas decoration of the hotel, the buffet, and the restaurants. In addition, there is plenty of entertainment for the children, such as a roaming Santa Claus for photo opportunities, glitter tattoos, a children's cinema, and an arcade corner with, among other things, an air hockey table.
Can I park for free?

At Van der Valk Hotel Breukelen, you can park for free for up to a maximum of 4 hours and exit within this time based on license plate recognition. If you stay longer than 4 hours, an hourly rate of €3.00 applies. Parking is free for hotel guests on the day of arrival and departure. Are you arriving with an electric car?
