A greener world
Hotels for Trees and Van der Valk Hotel Breukelen are collaborating. Starting from June 13, 2022, Van der Valk Hotel Breukelen will be participating in the Hotel for Trees project.
Hotels for Trees Foundation makes a tangible contribution to a greener hotel world. A hotel world where one new tree is planted for each day a guest chooses to skip room cleaning.
This green choice can already be found on the Hotels for Trees website the next day and directly contributes to the reforestation projects of partner Trees for All both domestically and internationally.
How does it work?
Step 1: Guests book a multi-day stay at Van der Valk Hotel Breukelen*.
Step 2: During your stay, you will hang the unique Hotels for Trees door hanger on the door handle of your room for one or more days.
Step 3: On these days, we skip the room cleaning and report the total number of rooms not cleaned that same evening in the Hotel for Trees portal.
Step 4: Once the numbers are entered, the tree made possible by the guest is together with all the other trees in the reporting You can find it on the website of Hotel for Trees.
Step 5: Hotels for Trees, with the help of Trees for All, ensures that the trees are planted in various reforestation projects both domestically and internationally.
*To make it even more attractive, hotel guests who have not booked a "Greenstay" in advance will receive a discount of €2.50 per night, in addition to planting 1 tree! How great is that?
